Role: Creative Director

The Idea: Create an overall brand to increase brand awareness, bring creators on board to cover games and create content, add quality content and improve Instagram following and engagement.

Phase I: I started with creating a consistent look for their graphics. They asked to not include as much red due to a rebranding happening in the near future. The goal was to keep it simple and have the photos be the focus. I created multiple graphics that all stayed within an consistent look.

Concept: The club wanted to avoid too much red due to a future rebranding. The colors I worked with were black, white, with a hint of red. I added the red by using light flares. The photos were the focus with added blurred text and textures that I maintained throughout the graphics.

Phase II: Create a hero video and provide a library of photos to choose from for multiple needs. I put together some graphics following the branding to create a dynamic backdrop.

Phase III: Take over Instagram. I started by posting the hero video to kick off the season. Followed by training photos, match day graphics, story updates throughout the game, highlight goals, post pictures, etc. Focus was producing more reels for the IG algorithm.

Outcomes:

  • Instagram: 30.3K (+720%) accounts reached, 2,049 (+361%) accounts engaged, 325 (+20%) new follows *as of March-June 2023

  • Consistent look and branding

  • Provided quality photos and videos for players, coaches, fans, and new audiences
